In a video I released I quoted this song and it seemed like no one knew it, this is not surprising but slightly disappointing, but now it gives me an excuse to take a deeper dive into Yesterday’s Tomorrow, Today by Dream Quest. The spoken section seems to try to set the stage by stating that the people need to adjust to the changing world, the changing being that there is nothing left to amuse people, specifically listed are concerts and restaurants. Last week I released a video on the song Shy Away and I talked about the idea that you can use something other than words to say I love you. To me this brings to mind the song More than Words by Extreme. So let’s take a look at that. Verse 1 Saying "I love you" Is not the words I want to hear from you It's not that I want you Not to say, but if you only knew How easy it would be to show me how you feel More than words is all you have to do to make it real Then you wouldn't have to say that you love me 'Cause I'd already know This verse does feel a little disconnected but overall the point is made.
