Conflicting Powers
This week’s video was on the hymn All Hail The Power of Jesus Name. I want to push the thought on this power a little bit. I believe that God has a plan that is increasingly complex with more moving parts then we can imagine. I think we can safely say that all things work together for the good of that plan. We can see this reflected in Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. We as humans can get caught up in this thought and start to think that everything is happening the way God intends. We look at circumstances and see a single outcome and think that is what God wants. This is not that simple. God uses all things to work for Him, that means things must happen that are negative. He uses these negative things in His plan and turns them around in a positive way.
